Our Charity

Brethren it is important to stress that the MCF is our charity. During the lockdown periods, the MCF has seen a sharp drop in contributions, for obvious reasons. Our Province benefits enormously from the support it gets from The MCF - last year alone 287 Brethren or their families received a total of £526,453 to assist in making their lives better. Our Province has a Festival every eleven years and given the figure quoted above is an average year, between Festivals, Hampshire and Isle of Wight would receive a total of £5,790,983..

Donating

There are a number of methods which you can use to donate to the Festival but by far and aware the most effective is by setting up a regular payment plan. These days, it is extremely easy to do - just go to https://donate.mcf.org.uk/festival-or-appeal/?festivalId=19489 and you can set one up straight away. Alternatively, you can download a PDF form that can be printed and sent off in the post using this link.

If you want to make a one-off donation there are a number of easy ways to do that

1. The easiest is to use your mobile phone and text the phrase MCF2027 to 70500. This will donate £5 to the Festival (look out for a reply asking you to give details of your lodge so that it can be credited to you for honorific purposes).
2. Scan the QR code at the foot of this article, which will take you to a website where you can use your credit/debit card or ApplePay/GooglePay to donate any amount.

The ‘per capita’ value is based on the number of members in the lodge on 29^th July, the official start date for the Festival.
